Your Details
What We Collect
Only what we need to help you
This policy is for everyone who visits theofficercode.com, books free counselling, talks to us on WhatsApp or phone, or joins our course or mentorship.
- 1
Counselling form: your name, email, mobile number and the exam you are preparing for (UPSC Online, UPSC Offline Ranchi Center or State PCS).
- 2
Payments: you pay for the demo class or mentorship on Razorpay’s page. Razorpay tells us your name, phone, email and whether the payment went through. We never see your card, bank or UPI PIN details.
- 3
WhatsApp and calls: when you message or call us, we get your number, your WhatsApp name and what you tell us.
- 4
When you join: the details we need for your admission, fees, classes, tests and mentorship sessions.
- 5
Website visits: basic information like your device, browser, IP address and which ad brought you to our site. This comes from the Google Ads tag and our website host.

Sharing
Who Sees Your Details
Only people and services that help us run The Officer Code
- 1
Our team: the counsellors and staff who call you back and handle your admission.
- 2
Our enquiry software: where we save counselling requests so our team can call you back.
- 3
Google: our pages load their fonts from Google and use the Google Ads tag. The tag uses cookies to tell us when someone who clicked our ad books counselling. Google and other ad partners may also use cookies to show you our ads on other websites, based on your visits to our site. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
- 4
Razorpay: handles your payments under its own privacy policy.
- 5
WhatsApp: when you chat with us there, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
- 6
Our website host (GitHub Pages): may keep basic visit logs, like IP addresses, for security.
- 7
Government or police: only when the law asks us to.
Safety
How We Keep Your Details Safe
How long we keep them, cookies and more
- 1
How long: we keep your details only as long as we need them for the reasons above, or as long as the law asks (like fee records for tax).
- 2
Protection: your details are kept in password-protected systems, and only the team members who need them can see them.
- 3
Cookies: our website does not set any cookies of its own. Only the Google Ads tag does. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. After you book counselling, your browser keeps your first name and phone number only until you close the tab, to show them on the thank-you page.
- 4
Under 18: our courses are for students aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please share your details only with your parent’s or guardian’s permission.
- 5
Changes: we may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
